Journals are made by me, with my own hands and with a lot of love and gratitude, because the ability of making it happen means for me the freedom of expression.

The love for paper was within me since I remember, sometimes letting other interests to take more space, but always coming back. I remember that as a kid during vacation, I was often walking to the local stationery store just to look at, smell and touch the notebooks and other paper products that were being sold there for the new school year. I think I loved the possibilities the blank pages were giving. I also loved writing, drawing, painting, and that excitement stayed with me for years. I remember I had the habit of re-writing my school notes, I also loved writing letters, so I'm glad about the fact that in my teenager years my friends were not glued to the screens yet. Thanks to that I can still enjoy these handwritten letters that I kept, and all the secrets shared in them.

In 2019 something started to bloom within me. Aside from the love of writing and painting, I gravitated towards the book binding. I started with tiny sewn recycled-paper notebooks, then an idea exploded within me to create a set of journal-books in a "perfect binding" style, with my own artworks as a cover... so I did! :) Then... life took me on a journey again, where I was playing with watercolor and acrylics, only to come back to book binding again, because of the idea that sparked within me again. And here we are!
All of the journals that I'll be sharing here, are an art experiment - one that I'd like to share with others, that may inspire something within you, to co-create with it, to express, to try again. Just like the work of human hands usually is, that's how my work will be - perfectly imperfect, but not perfectly boring. This space, and any other space that I create, is always artificial intelligence free, and that means it is a space of exploration, openness, constant learning and finding ways. Creation approached this way, will always have little imperfections, mistakes that turn into lessons and disasters turning into a piece of art. If you share a similar mindset and want to co-create the wold of freely expressing people, we'll get along well. I hope you'll find something special for yourself here.
